Upon arrival we were promptly seated. The restaurant wasnt busy but there was a nice feeling with the fire glowing and the chatter of other diners. The waitress was polite and efficient. We were in no hurry and our meals rolled put at the perfect pace. Our entrees were warm and tasty and were an excellent prelude if things to come. I enjoyed the steak for my main, it was cooked just how I like it and sliced delicately over the mash. The wine list was small but enough, something on there for every mood. The pricing is geared for the consumer here. They could charge alot more and people would be happy. A great all round experience.

We are a distinctly senior couple who went to a Saturday lunch to celebrate a birthday. We both chose confit chicken with avocado and an italian bacon, and it was absolutely superb. They did not overdo the green salad with it, and the combined flavours were just delicious. When we asked for chairs on the outside deck, they were provided cheerfully, typical of the friendly service of the waitresses. The prices were for us on the high side, but maybe we just have to pay for quality. We will return, probably as part of a larger family group.

Had the Linguine Vongole which was amazing and strawberry romanoff for dessert delicious.
Partner had a capricossa pizza which had a thin crispy base with plenty of topping.
The service was sharp and nothing seemed a problem also really enjoyed the three boys IPA.
