The Cuisine
Food does not have to be fussy and Nick along with
his team have a reputation for producing simple, delicious cuisine
using only the freshest ingredients. The cuisine leans towards
Italian with fresh pasta made daily on the premises, proscuittio,
olive oil and parmesan imported from Italy and local fish delivered
fresh each day.
The Venue
Set on a corner site in a stunning old building and
a deck with fantastic views of Lyttelton, Freemans is the place
you come to for total relaxation with your dining experience.
The inside dining room seats 45-50 people and you will relax
in comfort on bonquet and booth style seating. The outside
deck is the place to go for a casual drink, a bite to eat in
the warm sun or start your day with our fabulous underground
coffee on a Saturday morning!
The Occasion
This is your neigbourhood eaterie! A
place to come for any ocassion, whether it be a catch up with
friends, birthday, business meeting or function. Our professional
team have the knowledge and the skill to assist you in designing
the dining experience to best suit your needs.
The Gastro Club
Join our Gastro Club for up to date information e mailed to
you about what we are up to at Freemans. As part of our Gastro
Club you will be rewarded for your loyalty, with vouchers for
complimentary food and beverages when you dine with us and you
will also receive a free main meal when you dine with a party
of 4 or more on your birthday.
Winter at Freemans
 The
colder months are upon us and it is time for our guests to head inside by the fire and enjoy some good comfort food for the soul. Every Sunday we now offer the old fashion roast with all the trimmings as well as a spicy mulled wine to wash it down. Our wine list boasts some big hearty reds and warm fruity pinot noirs. Freemans is the perfect place to escape the winter blues.

The team have put together an edgy little
cocktail list that will kick off your experience with us at
Freemans. As always we have done the work and our team
are trained to deliver. From Mojitos to Cosmos or a Martini
with a twist, you sit and we will shake!
